Valley of the Kings?

WHAT!! The Valley of the Kings now??? Ohh nooo...
I didn't even think about that?? You wouldn't think rich kings dealt with the BOTD ( remember that means The Book of The Dead) . Well it is. Acutally there were a lot of pictures and writing on the walls. So the dead kings are STARRING at the walls?? That could get creepy.. anyways ( I'm saying that a lot ), these pictures and texts went far far beyond the meaning of the Book of the Dead in their creations of a hidden world of many many MANY dangers that faced multiple dangers battleing (or in fancy terms facing) the sun- god(that's Ra.. he's the sun god. And he travels in a little boat thingy like Max in "Where the Wild Things Are.") and the king as he journeyed with the sun (again that's Ra) through the realm of the night. Wow... I just said all of that for nothing.. Well kinda... All's I know is what your gonna read below will make sense to this sentence. The Book of The Caverns was found in 1905 and that book decorated the tomb. See... now keep reading below and all of this should make sense to you:) You will just love my writing:)

Another one??

There is another one. The Book of the Earth. YAY more reading! (you better know im being sarcastic). Wait, no. There aren't 2, there's 4! Or maybe even MORE!!!
But let's not worry. I'm not gonna keep blabbing about 4 Books. lol. Forget I ever said that. Anways, all 4 books are called,

• The Book of The Dead ( I'm talking about that one now if you haven't been listening)


• The Book of The Earth ( Don't ask me what that's about cause I researched the BOTD)


• The Book of The Gates


• The Book of the Caverns

See... I wasn't lieing. There are a lot of books. But don't worry. I'm not researching on ALL of these books ( THANK GOD!! ). But we know they all exsist because we have seen them written on cave walls and on the walls of the Valley of The Kings. But the illistrations of the Book of the Dead (or like how I abbreviate BOTD) are on the caves more than the writing. But ohhh welll!!! It's still written down:)

What's the point??

Really I don't get the point of The Book of The Dead. To me, it's a pretty cool subject to talk about. But what's the point?? Well this whole thing was inscribed on papyrus and papyrus was very important for the Egyptains. Anyways, there are the 200 or more "chapters" in it, and it's known as "the spell for coming forth by day". I don't really understand that but it must be important somehow. Oh WAIT!!! "The spell", is the chapter, and "for coming forth" is coming forward, and "by day" is like it says it. So altogether it's, "the chapter coming forward by day." Maybe instead of chapter it would be book... and I'm just thinking that in my blonde mind, but oh well.. let's try it. " The book coming forward by day." That makes perfect sense to me!!! It's like during the day, the book is like in action, or your dead and in your afterlife givin in the book. And that must mean at night your something else! wow! That must be the point of the book. Ouch! Now my brain hurts. I thought too much. But the people who wrote the stuff in the picture probably died from writing all of that:) lol. wait no happy.. saddy. y..y... never mind!

Write, Write, Write...

Kinda like what I said below is, whats written in it is whats gonna happen in your afterlife. Remember happily ever after? ( look below ) Yeah that part. Well my title probably isn't the best thing to describe what I'm gonna talk about. So I'll tell you:) I'm writting about what's written in the Book of The Dead. If that makes any sense. (It doesn't for me that well when I still get it at the same time. But hey, I'm a blond. I need to get things processed right.) Anyways, it explains the weighing of the heart ceremony, has some nicknames you were probably called (don't worry they aren't bad nicknames like stupid face or something. lol). It was all written on papyrus and looked like the picture on the left. ( So it would be <------ that way but it's not there isn't it.) Well it probably looked a lot better than the picture because they weren't as ripped up. Anyways there is a lot more written in the Book of the Dead but that's really the main things that I found.

Chapters? NO!

Oh no! Chapters?!?! Time for some reading!! But obviously they aren't just ordinary chapters, and they aren't ordinary because, I'm talking about them:) (I know I'm so so special). Actually in the Book of the Dead they weren't called chapters. They were called spells, like Harry Potter!lol. So that explains the Harry Potter picture above. So anyways, the "chapters" (I'll call it that so I don't confuse you) are more known as spells. (Again Harry Potter) But I bet you didn't know there were 200 (or more)! Yeah the dead had to do a LOT of reading. When I'm dead, I don't wanna be reading the whole time. I want to be busy doing other things after life people would be doing. Well that's what you would think. But they don't actually read it. It's what their afterlife would be like. For example when I die I will meet an AMAZING prince and live happily ever after. So they would write that in my book and that's what would happen in my afterlife! Cool huh?!?
